Protect Your Loved -
Ones
Nursing home abuse
and neglect has become widespread
in our society.
It is a serious problem
affecting millions of nursing home residents who are dependant on nursing homes for care.
Recent statistics show that thirty percent of nursing home facilities have been
cited for instances of abuse. If this is not alarming enough, the statistics
further show that the majority of nursing home abuse instances are never reported.
Abuse and neglect can be difficult to recognize and are often covered-up by nursing home
staff.
Warning signs of nursing home abuse or neglect:

sprains, or fractures in various stages of healing;
